An early Victorian Tortoiseshell Sewing Box dated May 12, 1837
Measuring 4 1/2" wide by 3" deep by 2 1/4" high, this beautiful little sewing box is in near 'mint' condition. The silver escutcheon has the initials M A L and the date May 12, 1837. The fitted interior retains its' original red satin lining which is also in near mint condition.
