Inventory ID: 7272
A RARE pair of late 18th century English three-barrel flintlock tap action pocket pistols by Smith circa 1790.
It is extremely rare to find a pair of pistols like these. They are .36 cal. and have 2" round barrels which retain traces of the original blueing. The length of each pistol is 5.5." The walnut grips are checkered at the top and both pistols are fitted with sliding safeties. A silver escutcheon is inlaid into the back of each grip. The actions are crisp and the overall condition of each pistol is near fine.
