A charming 19th century seaman's trunk inscribed "Peter Still, First Mate, Chatham, 1891."


Item Description:

This 19th century trunk measures width 24" by depth `15" by 15" high. The trunk appears to have been painted in the early to mid 20th century. The top fearures a clipper ship, the front has the name "Peter Still, First Mate" and "Chatham" and the sides say "1891" and "Jane."
