Title: A fine 18th century eight-draw "patent portable" telescope by George Adams Jr. circa 1780
Description: A wonderful small pocket telescope which measures 5 1/2" when closed and 28 1/2"when fully extended. The barrel shows faint signs of the original painted foliage decoration. Inscribed "Adams New Patent Portable Telescope, No. 60, Fleet Street, LONDON."
