19th Century Marine 2 Day Chronometer Signed 'Richard Hornby, Liverpool' Circa 1840

Hornby (1810-1872)was a highly accomplished chronometer maker and was a "Maker to the Admiralty." This paricular chronometer was later placed in a rosewood case bearing the name "Frodsham and Baker," and this beautiful case is of the same period, circa 1840.
