A 19th century Tortoiseshell Scent Bottle Casket with Domed Top circa 1860

Measuring only 3 1/2" wide by 3" high, this lovely little box has ivory lined interior edges and retains its' original blue velvet interior. The two gilt decorated scent bottles are of the period but not original to the box. The lid has a silver cartouche. There is an old repair to the tortoiseshell located on the front right edge of the lid measuring 1/8" by 1 1/4" which is barely noticeable.
