A beautiful 18th century 'style' silver plated flagon by the Gorham Mfg.Company circa 1880.

Standing nearly 15" high, this massive flagon is an exact copy of one that I sold many years ago. The original flagon was made by London silversmith Gabriel Sleath in 1713 and was a gift made to an English parish church. This exact copy was made to be used in Church ceremonies while the original one was locked safely away. Although I offered both flagons to the buyer, he only wanted the original one and not the copy.
