A beautiful ebony Octant by Spencer Browning & Rust with its' original painted and stenciled case having the initials 'W E B' circa 1820.

This wonderful painted stepped case with original paint comes with its' brass mounted ebony octant signed 'Spencer Browning & Rust, London' and dates to circa 1820. The octant has been recently cleaned and polished and retains all ot its' original filters and lenses. A great overall set worthy of any museum collection! The case measures 15".
