A charming Sailor carved Ditty box inscribed "HANNAH STEVENS, AD 1833"

One panel is carved with a number of British warships and a fort, another with a trophy-of-arms and the front panel is carved with the name of Hannh Stevens and the date 1833. The lid shows traces of the original red paint. The box measures 4" by 12" by 6 1/2".
