A Colt 1st Model .41 Cal. Single Shot Deringer circa 1880

Rated NRA 'Fine plus' this nice example has nearly 97% of the nickel finish on the barrel, but no finish on the engraved frame. The hammer retains 98% of the case hardened finish. Serial number 3064. See p. 37 in 'The Deringer in America' by Eberhart and Wilson published in 1993.
