A fabulous antique English tea caddy box dated 1772

The color and quality of this tea caddy box is the best I have seen!! The inlaid compass rose quarters are elaborate and unsurpassed in detail. The interior is original as are the brass mounts and bracket feet. Having it dated is quite rare and is the only example I have seen with a date. The box measures 11" wide by 7" high and 7" deep.
