A fascinating collection of over 40 letters written to and from Capt. Samuel Harding of Bath, Maine, over the period from 1803 to 1812.

The letters are dated from as early as 1803 and as late as 1812. They were sent from many places including Falmouth, Jamaica, London, England, Cork, Ireland and many ports in America including Baltimore, Boston and New York. Capt. Harding was Captain of the ship Swiftsure along with several other ships including the Orion.
