This very fine example is the H.F. Wheeler's patent, made in Boston from 1866 to 1872. One barrell is .22 cal and the other.38 cal. The barrell length is 3". The frame has its' rare factory silver plate with over 90% still in tact. The grips are made of fancy rosewood. The low serial number of 199 indicates that this fine example was made early in the first year of manufacture which was 1866.
