A Fine and Rare Grouping of 19th Century English Footman's Silver Livery Buttons.

This rare grouping of antique livery buttons has the following inscription on the back of the frame: "Footman's buttons used at Salperton Park, Gloucestershire in the time of T. Beale-Brown Esq. (died 1888). the center button, in the time of his father J.Brown Esq. (died 1850) given to me by my parents Col. G. Beale-Brown J.P. and Mrs. Beale-Brown, August 1933. Framed by me at CATTERICK CAMP, Beale-Brown, Major, Dec. 1933."
