A fine and rare late 19th century copper printing plate featuring the U.S. Mail Paddle Wheeler "KATE ADAMS"

Affixed to a printers block, this rare survivor measures 7 1/2" by 11 1/4". The Kate Adams was built in 1882 in Sewickley, PA, and was 250' long. She held the record for various runs. The back of the block has 'Monongahela' written in pencil.
