A fine and rare New England Queen Anne maple side chair probably from coastal Connecticut circa 1730-1760

Probably from coastal Connecticut, this beautiful chair is in fabulous condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs. Wonderful color and patina. Lovely carved crest rail, rush seat, Spanish style feet and beautifully turned stretchers. A similar example is illustrated and described on page 343 of New England Furniture, The Colonial Era, by Brock Jobe and Myrna Kaye, published in 1984.
