A fine and rare pair of Antique Bookends circa 1930 depicting a Pioneer Woman and Her Son

These bronze like metal bookends, manufactured by Jennings Brothers, were based on the original statue sculpted by Bryant Baker (1881-1970) which was unveiled in 1930 to pay tribute to Oklahoma's pioneers. Will Rogers spoke in front of an audience of 40,000 people who attended the unveiling. Height: 8 3/4", depth 4 1/2", width: 4". Great color and patina.
