Retaining their original paper labels on the bottom, this exceedlingly rare and beautiful pair of antique bookends was made by Jennings Brothers of Connecticut circa 1930. The bronze like finish and overall condition is 'near mint.' Sculpted by Daniel C. French and unveiled to the public on April 19, 1875 on the centenniel of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the minuteman statue has become a symbol of our Independence. The measurements of these bookends are as follows: height: 9 1/4", Width: 4 1/2".
