This rare painted early American antique leather fire bucket is inscribed "No.1 Cambridge-Port (MASS) Fire Society, E. Kimball, 1811." Dark green paint with protective varnish. Part of the handle has become detached. PROVENANCE: Katherine and Edgar Seeler, authors of the book on Nantucket Baskets. Height: 14"
