Outstanding overall condition. Gold vent and breech band. Engraved Silver trigger guard, ramrod ferules and buttcap and a gold escutcheon. Rebrowned marbled barrel with gold inlaid name "D. EGG, LONDON". Original horn tipped ramrod and horn tipped forestock. Engraved barrell tang. Decorative checkered stock. Beautiful patina and color. Provenance: The Wilfrid Ward Collection, Christies, London, 1993.
