A magnificent flow blue plate adapted from the dinner service given to Martha Washington in 1796

This fabulous plate with gilt sun burst in the center along with the initials "M W" and 15 states chained together along the rim (yes, there were 15 states in the United states in 1796) was made circa 1896-1902. The plate was used for advertising and was purchased by Daniel Low & Co., of Salem, Mass.
