A near 'Mint' condition Antique Two-draw ship Captain's Telescope, probably English, circa 1850

Rarely does one find a telescope of this period in almost unused condition. The scope retains 99% of its' original laquer finish and the leather wrapped barrell with woven ends is as perfect today as when it was made over 150 years ago. There is a slight, almost unnoticeable, dent on the sun shade but this in no way impairs its' appearance or value. Wonderful sharp and clear optics! Length closed: 14 1/4" Length extended: 35 1/4"
