Sculpted by Augustus Saint Gaudens, the artist who designed the U.S. $20.00 gold piece in 1915. This sculpture was done in 1920 to commemorate the founder of Springfield, Mass. Beautiful mellow bronze patina (bronze finish over gray metal). Height 9". Note: there is a small scratch on the back of one.
