A pair of engravings depicting the famous War of 1812 naval battle between the USS Chesapeake and the HMS Shannon

These beautiful hand-colored engravings were published in 1830 and depict two views of the famous War of 1812 naval battle which took place in Boston harbor on June 1, 1813 between the US Frigate Chesapeake and the British ship HMS Shannon. These engravings are numbered 2 & 3 and were part of a set of 4 views. They have been beautifully framed and measure 19 1/2" by 17"
