A pair of Italian ivory opera glasses with their original satin lined black leather case made by A. Ramoni, Opticians, of Rome circa 1900.

The opera glasses have the typical age cracks in the ivory but are otherwise in great shape with good clear focus. the case is exceptional with the makers' name embossed in gold on the blue satin inner lining. The brass clasp is quite ornate, perhaps the best example I have seen.
