Manufactured by Jennnings Brothers of Connecticut circa 1915, this rare pair of antique bookends show signs that one of them suffered some damage as a result of having been dropped. The head and leg on one shows old solder repairs. I have therefore reduced the price from what they would have been in perfect condition ($1,200) to the new price of $395. NOTE: Daniel C. French designed the statue of the founder of Harvard College in 1900 and it now sits in Harvard Yard. Both bookends also retain their original paper labels on the bottom. Height: 6 3/4"
