A RARE 18th century five-draw telescope made by JESSE RAMSDEN, Instrument Maker to His Majesty, King George III, circa 1780

This fine and rare FIVE-DRAW telescope was made circa 1780 by one of the most important instrument makers of the 18th century, JESSE RAMSDEN (1735-1800). The scope retains its original green objective lens and has incredibly sharp optics for a scope of this age. Length closed: 10" Extended: 42"
