A RARE and HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT CRIBBAGE BOARD PRESENTED TO CAPT. ISAAC HULL IN 1820)

This extremely rare cribbage board was made from the "Timber and Brass from OLD IRONSIDES" and presented to Capt. Hull (1773-1843) in 1820. On August 19, 1812, the USS Constitution, under command of Capt. Isaac Hull, met and defeated HMS Guerriere, a 38 gun British frigate. The stunning victory was the most important single ship action of the War of 1812 and one that made Isaac Hull a national hero.
