A RARE and SUPERB pair of Antique Bookends depicting Cyrus Dallin's famous sculpture "APPEAL TO THE GREAT SPIRIT" circa 1936

This very famous statue sits in front of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and was cast in 1909 by Cyrus Edwin Dallin (1861-1944). It is one of the very best of Western themed sculptures and depicts a mounted Native American warrior as he appeals for support to his god. The bookends are exact in detail and were made circa 1936 by Jennings Brothers of Bridgeport, CT. They have a marvelous bronze finish and are in near perfect condition.
