A rare Chinese Export Porcelain Covered Vegetable Dish in the Nanking style circa 1790-1810

This wonderful example has a rarely seen applied silver handle to the lid. It is the original and not as a result of a damaged finial which was replaced. This silver handle might suggest that it was originally intended for the Dutch market as many silver mounted export pieces were. Great color and condition. Length: 11" Height: 5 1/2"
