A RARE Copy of The Annual Register of the History, Politics and Literature for the year 1775.

SOLD

Published in London in 1776, this very rare book gives many of the accounts which led to the Revolutionary War. It also gives the full account of George Washington being appointed as Commander in Chief, the full details of the Battles at Lexington and Concord, the Battle of Bunker Hill and the "Reasons for Taking Up arms" as discussed in the Continental Congress. Not mentioned are many other descriptive accounts of what was going on in the colonies from the British prospective. The book itself has a wonderful old bookplate and has full leather covers and the original spine. An inferior copy of this book recently sold on EBAY for $625.
