A rare early 18th century Dutch brass and copper inlaid fruitwood pipe case circa 1720

Measuring 9" long, this fabulous piece of treen features a hinged bottom which opens to reveal a clay pipe. The case is profusely inlaid with engraved brass and copper elements including a depiction of a 'court jester' smoking a long clay pipe.
