A RARE "Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Society" Collecting box circa 1860

Made of teak wood with heavy brass banding, the box is printed with a pictorial dedication which reads "The Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Royal Benevolent Society for the relief of Shipwrecked persons and the widows and orphans of deceased seamen and fishermen." A very rare suvivor. Height: 12" Width: 8" Depth: 4"
