A rare Velvet covered Silver mounted BOOK of COMMON PRAYER published in Philadelphia in 1846 by J.B. Lippincott.

A very attractive example with ornate silver clasp and silver overlay front and back covers. The name of the original owner Stephen Watkins Clark (1810-1885?) is inscribed on a silver plaque on the front.
