This fine dirk is illustrated in Peter Tuite's "U.S. Naval Officer's: Their Swords and Dirks" published in 2005, page . This nice example retains its' original gilt brass scabbard with anchor and 'Liberty' cap motif. Overall length: 11 1/4"
