A Silver Mounted Napoleonic Period British Naval 'Fighting' Dirk with 14" blade and made in 1805

Made during the year that the Battle of Trafalgar took place (1805), this good example is fully hallmarked. The blade shows traces of the original gold etching. The bone handle shows much wear and has several cracks and repairs but is stable.
