Made in Newburyport, MA., circa 1867, this nicely engraved example retains 70% of the silvering on the barrel and 50% on the frame. The grips are ivory which is quite rare, and are numbered to the pistol. The left grip is split and shows signs of having been reglued. The serial number is 3594. See p. 111 in 'The Deringer in America' by Eberhart and Wilson published in 1993.
