A spectacular 19th century Tiger-Maple Half-stock percussion Plains Rifle, unsigned, circa 1850

SOLD

Spectacular tiger maple half-stock Pennsylvania style plains rifle with wonderful German silver inlays, Kentucky style trigger guard and engraved lock plate make this a stunning piece. Possibly made in Ohio or Indiana, the octagonal barrel measures 36" with the overall length at 52 1/2". I estimate the caliber to be approximately .36.
