A Superb Frank Wesson Large Frame Double Barrel Pistol with Sliding Dagger c. 1870

Serial number 200. .41 cal having a 3" octagon barrel, brass frame, nickel silver finish and rosewood grips. Barrel stamped "Frank Wesson, Worcester, Mass., pat. July 20, 1869." This is a third type pistol with retractable 2 1/8" dagger. Condition: the barrel shows 90% of the original nickel finish with some light spotting and pitting near the muzzle. Lovely mellow patina on the brass frame. A rare example in very good condition.
