A very fine early 20th century carved eagle plaque in the style of John Haley Bellamy (1836-1914).

This outstanding example dating to circa 1900-1925 may well have been made by a student of John Haley Bellamy (1836-1914) or certainly someone who closely studied Bellamy's style. Bellamy was born in Kittery, Maine, and several years ago one of his carved eagles sold for over $600,000. This carving is of the highest quality. The red, white and blue banner is inscribed "United We Stand." The plaque measures 9" by 24".
