A wonderful Antique English brass mounted Pistol or Instrument box circa 1825

Measuring 17 1/4" by 7" by 2 1/2", this wonderful box is inscribed "Weiss Improved Air Tight Case, 62 Strand, London." The interior has been relined in green felt and could be used for a variety of purposes. The mahogany is wonderfully 'tigered' and is exceptionally attractive.
