A Wonderful Gilt Bronze Plaque of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, Produced in 1859

These decorative and patriotic plaques (in both bronze and silver) were produced in 1859 by An Act of Congress and manufactured by the S. H. Black Co. of New York. They were given to large donors helping to fund the restoration of Independence Hall in Philadelphia. 7 3/4" x 7".
