An 18th century English silver mounted flintlock officers' pistol by William Wilson, London 1783

SOLD

The engraved lockplate is signed Wilson and the silver hallmarks are for the year 1783. Beautiful walnut stock with checkered grips, ivory tipped ramrod. The engraved silver trigger guard has a Tudor rose motif and an acorn finial. The 7" brass barrel is signed "Minories London" and the steel barrel tang is beautifully engraved. Over all length: 12 1/2"
