An American Infantry Officer's Sword circa 1810-1815

SOLD

This British made sword for the American market has a 'five' ball brass guard and fluted bone grips. The beautifully gilt etched 32 1/2" blade has much of its' original blueing and is engraved with a Federal eagle and shield, a banner reading 'E Pluibus Unum', a trophy-of-arms and swags. It is also engraved "warranted." It also has its' original brass mounted leather scabbard with brass stud and ring. A nice honest example with a lovely blade.
