An Early 19th century British Navy 'Midshipman's' Dirk circa 1800-1820

Measuring 8 1/2" in length, this very nice example has a turned ivory handle with a gilt brass lion head pommel. The gilt brass scabbard is beautifully engraved and the double edged engraved blade retains much of its' original blueing.
