An English Regency Period Rosewood Writing Box With Decorative Pierced Brass Banding Circa 1820

This fine writing box has a side drawer, original red lined interior and three secret drawers. Very attractive piece. Condition: There is an old age crack runing across the top of the box and a section of the pierced brass top edge has lifted due to shrinkage. Even with those issues, this a most attractive English Regency writing box. Included is a mahogany stand for the box to sit on.
