An English Victorian period circa 1840-1860 document box belonging to "Charles Hammond"

The top mounted brass carrying handle and escutcheon are inscribed "CHUBB & SON, Manufacturers, 57 St. Paul's Churchyard, London." The internal lock is also marked Chubb with the patent number. Height: 6 1/2" Depth: 11' Width: 16". Comes complete with its' original key.
