An engraved Admiral Lord Nelson Memorial Plaque made from copper taken from HMS VICTORY and dated 1907

This beautiful plaque was made from copper taken from both the HMS VICTORY and HMS FOUDROYANT when repairs were made to the ships back at the turn of the century. Nelson's famous words "England Expects That Every Man Will Do His Duty" are engraved along with "Presented by Lord Strathcona & Mount Royal Through British & Foreign Sailors Society for Canadian Schools, 1907."
