An Exceptionally Fine Five-Shot Percussion Large Caliber PEPPERBOX Revolver Circa 1848

Made by "James Beattie, 205 Regent Street, London," this fine pepperbox has case hardened fluted barrels with foliage around the muzzle. The barrels are numbered 1-5. The gun has its' original steel belt hook which might suggest military usuage. Finely checkered figured walnut butt with oval silver escutcheon. A great example!
