An Outstanding Schoolgirl Embroidery by Mary Parkin circa 1815

This charming and rare 'free form' embroidery has incredibly bright colors and is in overall outstanding condition. Done by "Mary Parkin, Born April 19, 1804", the embroidery features a fully rigged ship with multi colored sails in the lower left and a central flower pot with a variety of exotic and fanciful flowers. Wonderful in every respect! In a modern walnut frame measuring 16 1/2" by 10 1/2"
